Assam APAAR ID Registration 2024

The Government of Assam has rolled out the implementation of APAAR ID, a 12-digit lifelong digital identity for school-enrolled students who possess a valid Aadhar ID. Directed by the state education department under the New Education Policy 2020, this initiative aims to streamline academic records, track student progress, and support students’ educational journeys. 

APAAR ID stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry, which is the part of ‘One Nation, One Student ID’ Program Designed from New Education Policy. This initiative is driven by the Department of School Education & Literacy under the ministry of Education. 

Assam State education Minister Shri Ranoj Pegu has rolled out the APAAR ID Registration for those Students who possess the Aadhar Card and Also Requested the Parents for the Parent-Teacher meetings in order for their consent for theAssam  APAAR ID Registration. 

Assam APAAR ID of students will be the permanent digital identity for the student which will be linked to Academic Bank of Credits & DigiLocker to digitally store all academic records including marksheets, certificates, etc. It will help for unified tracking of academic progress of students, reducing drop out and tracking of Out of School Children.

Objectives of the APAAR ID Assam

• The main objective of the APAAR ID is to Provide Students a single unique ID with an objective of One Nation One Student ID. 
• To Streamline Academic Records, Track Student’s Progress and Education Journey.
• To increase Enrollment in Primary and Secondary Education.
• To Support Students for their Education and Other Welfare Activities.
• Unified tracking of academic progress of students, reducing drop out and tracking of Out of School Children.

Key Highlights

Guidelines for APAAR ID Assam Apply Online 

• Assam APAAR Student ID is mandatory for the Students studying in Government School, Private School or Government aided School.
• APAAR ID generation will require parents Consent for Transferring of Aadhar details.
• Parents are requested to Attend the Parents-Teacher meetings in order to give Consent for the data collection.
• Aadhar Card details will be required by the school Authority for doing the APAAR ID Registration.
• Those Students who don’t have Aadhar, Can enrol for the Aadhar from Aadhar enrolment Centre across the State. 
•  Parents will have to fill the Consent Form that is available in Assamese, Bodo and English language.

APAAR ID Assam Apply Online Process 

Government of Assam has started the APAAR ID Assam Online Registration from 20 September 2024 across the State, around 12 lakhs students will Register for the ID. We have provided the Step by Step process below, Please follow the Below Instructions to Generate your APAAR ID.

• Visit the Official of the APAAR ID Assam Portal.
• Click on the Student Registration Button given on the Homepage.
• Now Enter Your Details Like Student’s Name, Class, Father’s Name and Other Personal Details.
• Enter Your Education Qualification and Personal Address.
• Enter Your Aadhaar Card and Registered Mobile Number. 
• Click on Submit Button after Submitting the Required Documents.
• Now You will get a Unique Registration Number as a Student ID. 
• You can also Register Yourself with Digilocker.

APAAR ID Assam Login Process

• Visit the Official website of the Portal.
• Click on the Student Login Button given on the Homepage.
• Now You will be Redirected to the Digilocker for login.
• Enter Your Mobile Number and OTP received on Your Mobile Number. 
• Now You will get logged in Your APAAR ID.
• Now You Can Access to Your Academic Records.
