Assam Punya Tirtha Yojana 2024
Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma has launched the Assam Punya Tirtha Yojana for the Pilgrimage of 25,000 devotees to Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. This Scheme was announced during the Budget Announcement with a Budgetary Provision of Rs. 25 Crores.
Under the Assam Punya Tirtha Yojana, the Government of Assam will facilitate the Pilgrimage of 25,000 devotees to the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. This Scheme Covers the Pilgrimage of Ayodhya Ram Mandir and Other Nearby Temples. Applicants can Apply for this Scheme Online and Offline, Follow the Article for Guidelines and Application Process.
Assam Punya Tirtha Yojana Objectives
- To conduct a Pilgrimage Tour to Ayodhya for Senior Citizens of Assam.
- To Conduct a Pilgrimage of 25,000 devotees of Assam to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
- To Promote Art and Culture among the Residents of Assam.
Assam Punya Tirtha Yojana Facilities Available
- Air-conditioned 3 AC Railway Coach and Bus Will be Provided for the Destination.
- Each Pilgrimage will get an allowance of Rs. 150 per day for food.
- Helpers will be arranged by the ADTC for the convenience of Pilgrims.

Assam Punya Tirtha Yojana Guidelines
- Applicant should be Medically fit for the Tour.
- The Applicant’s Age must be 55-77 years for females and 60-75 years for Males.
- Applicants should be permanent residents of Assam.
- A maximum 2 People from one family can Apply for this Scheme.
- The Maximum Annual Income of applicants should be Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
- Applicants must give the Mobile Number of 2 people in the family for any Emergency.
- Tour Starts and Ends at Guwahati, henceforth Applicant Should bear the Cost to Reach Guwahati.
