The Assam Government has launched many Government Welfare Schemes for Women and Children in the State. Assam MMUA Scheme 2024

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma Has started an initiative to support the Entrepreneur Women of the State. The Name of this Scheme is Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan or MMUA Scheme, under which financial Assistance of Rs. 35,000 will be provided to 39 Lakh Women of the State to ensure they earn 1 lakh rupees Per Annum. 

The Government of Assam has issued Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria, in which the Assam child Policy will be followed to provide Benefits to Women of the State. The Eligibility Criteria Follow the Child Policy which means Women belonging to General and OBC Category must not have more than 3 children. Other Eligibility Criteria and Guidelines Given below in the Article. 

The objective of the Assam MMUA Scheme 

• To develop Women Entrepreneurs in the State.
• To ensure entrepreneur women earn at least 1 lakh Rupees.
• To provide Financial Assistance of Rs. 35,000 to 39 Lakh eligible women of the State. 
• To Open Gates of Opportunities for women by Providing Financial Assistance.

Benefits of the Assam MMUA Scheme

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma Has Launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan to provide Opportunities for Eligible Women in the State. In this Scheme, 39 Lakh Women of the State will get Financial Assistance of Rs. 35,000 to develop their Business. This Scheme is also known as the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme Under the Leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to ensure women of India earn at least 1 lakh Rupees per Annum. 

Financial Breakout of the MMUA Assam.

• Rs. 10,000 will be provided to each beneficiary after the Selection of the Applicant.
• Rs. 12,000 will be provided by the Government of Assam to the Beneficiaries in the Period of Next Two years.
• An additional Rs. 12,000 will be given as a Loan by the Bank which will be paid by the Applicant.
• A total Rs. 35,000 will be given under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan Assam.

Assam MMUA Scheme Eligibility 

• Applicants must be Permanent Resident of Assam State.
• General and OBC Category Women should not have more than 3 children. 
• There should not be more than 4 Children for SC/ST/Moran and Tea Tribe Beneficiaries.
• Applicant’s age must be at least 18 Years. 
• Business plans should be Submitted to benefit under this Scheme.
• Applicant Annual income should not be more than 1 Lakh Rupees.
• Applicants should be members of Self Help Groups.

Assam MMUA Application Form 

Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan Application Form can be received at the Nearest panchayat Office and the Nearest Municipality Office. Follow the below Instructions to Fill the MMUA Form.

• Applicants will have to visit the Nearest Panchayat/Municipality office to get a Free MMUA Form.

• Forms can be collected from the Specific Centre, No Photocopy Allowed.
• Fill out the MMUA Registration Form and Two Sankalp Patra for Child Eligibility and Girl Enrollment in School.
• Attach all the Related Documents and Submit it to the office.
