Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme 2.0
Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma has launched the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan Scheme in Assam which is commonly known as the CMAAA 2.0 Scheme, under this Scheme total of 2 Lakh unemployment Youth of the State will get Benefited from the government of Assam. These Youths will get 1 Lakh Rupees in Financial Year 2024-25 and 1 Lakh in 2025-26.
The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 is a visionary initiative by the Government Assam aimed at Addressing the issue of Unemployment in the State. The main purpose of the scheme is to empower youths with self-employment opportunities in the state.
Objectives of the CMAAA 2.0 Scheme
- To provide Self-employment to all categories of Educated Youth through a Suitable Mechanism.
- To create entrepreneurs and an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state.
- To generate employment opportunities in rural and urban areas.
- To support Entrepreneurs with Financial Assistance from the Government of Assam.

Atmanirbhar Assam Apply Online Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants From Only Assam State Are Eligible to Apply For the Scheme.
- Candidates Should be registered in the Employment Exchanges of Assam.
- Only Unemployed candidates are eligible to apply for the Scheme.
- The applicant should be between 28 to 40 years old as of 1st April 2024.
- Candidates must have a PAN Card and bank account in the applicant’s name.
- Applicants should not be defaulters in any other loans.
- Minimum Education Required is Class 10th for every Category.
- The applicant should possess skills, experiences, knowledge, etc., to undertake income-generating activities.

Guidelines Related to Atmanirbhar Assam Apply Online
- To apply for “Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0” new applicants must sign up on CMAAA Portal by providing their name, mobile number and email ID.
- Applicants already signed up in CMAAA 1.0 and who is not a beneficiary of CMAAA 1.0 need not to sign up again and can log in using their old credentials.
- Once logged in, applicants need to fill up all the necessary fields including permanent address, business details etc. in the registration form under the CMAAA 2.0 tab.
- Applicants need to make an online payment of Rs.100 at the time of submission of registration form.
- After successful submission an acknowledgement slip will be generated along with a reference number. An SMS and Email is being sent to the applicant.
