There are Various Welfare Schemes Launched by the Assam Government every year to provide Benefits to Residents of Assam State. In this article, we will provide the List of All Government Schemes run by the Government of Assam. The main aim of the Assam Govt Scheme is to uplift those People who are Lacking in the World and Those who need more Assistance. Through the Assam Govt Scheme, Various Types of Welfare like Financial Assistance, Health Assistance, Pension Schemes, and Ration and Loan Schemes for Entrepreneurs are being Provided. 

Assam Govt Scheme for Unemployed 2024

1. Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 

This Scheme was Launched by the Government of Assam to Generate employment opportunities in the State through setting up new Businesses, Under the CMAAA Scheme, the Government Will Provide Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs as Financial Assistance to 2 lakh eligible Youth of the State. 

Through the Assam Atmanirbhar Yojana, 2 lahks will be provided to those who are Graduates, ITI Pass Out, Polytechnic Pass outs, and Diploma Holders. Similarly, Rs. 5 Lakh will be provided to beneficiaries with Professional Degrees in Engineering, Medical, dental, agriculture, etc. 50% will be provided as financial assistance and 50% will be provided as an interest-free loan by the Government. 2. Skill Development Scheme for the Unemployed Youth

This Scheme has been launched to facilitate Basic Skill Development Training based on Skill Gaps in Assam. Through this Scheme, Skill Development Training is Provided for 2-3 months with assured Employment to 80% of Youth. The Salary of Selected Candidates will vary from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 18,000 and Jobs will be provided in Assam State as well as in Other States of India.

3.  Assam Kalpataru Scheme

Kalpataru Scheme is Launched by the Assam Government to provide financial Assistance to the Jobless Students in the state. Youths having their age between 18 years to 35 Years will be eligible to Apply for This Scheme, all the Candidates should be Registered in the Assam Employment Exchange.

Through the Assam Kalpataru Scheme, the Government Aimed to provide Monthly social assistance in the form of Finance, which will be directly transferred to the Beneficiary’s Bank Account. 

4. Assam Employment Exchange Registration 

The government of Assam Has Started to Provide Employment Opportunities by Starting Employment Exchange Registration in the State. Through Employment Exchange, The companies seeking to Employ in the State and are Searching for Job Seekers can register Here and Those candidates looking for Jobs can Also Register Themselves. 5. Assam SVAYEM Scheme 

Swami Vivekananda Youth Employment (SWAYEM) Yojana Announced by the government to provide Financial Support to the youths of Assam to take up income-generating activities in the manufacturing, trading and service sectors. The Main Objective of the Scheme is to generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas through the setting up of new ventures as well as growing existing ventures. 

6. Assam Sarothi Start-up Scheme

The government of Assam Launched this Scheme to provide a Stage for those entrepreneurs who want to convert their Ideas into Reality but due to a Lack of Adequate Resources, they are Facing Problems. The basic Objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance in the form of a loan with Interest subvention through a designated Bank covering the whole of Assam. The loan availed by the beneficiaries will be supported by the State Govt. through Interest Subvention @ 5% P.A.

7. Rojgar Sangam Yojana Assam

The Government of Assam Has Launched this Scheme to Curb Unemployment in the State. under this Scheme, Job Seekers Can Register to get Job Opportunities based on the Industry, Location, Profession, and Qualification. Assam Govt Scheme for Farmers

1. Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa Sajuli Yojana

This Scheme was launched by the Assam Government to increase Farm Productivity in the limited land to meet the Increasing Demand for Farm Produce and ensure Higher income for the Farmers. As of now Cultivation using Farm tools is very limited in the State of Assam, So the Government of Assam is Taking major Steps like the CM Farm Tools Scheme to ensure the Economic Growth of the Rural farmers in the State.

2. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi 

The PM KISAN scheme is a centrally Sponsored scheme launched in 2018 by the Central Government to provide income Support of Rs. 6,000 per annum to all eligible Farmers Across the Country. The Instalment of Rs. 2000 every four months is Transferred to the Beneficiary’s Bank Account Directly.

Assam Govt Scheme for Women & Child

1. Assam Orunodoi Scheme

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma launched the Orunodoi Scheme as a Poverty Alleviation Programme. Under This Scheme, a Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,250, per month is provided through Direct Benefit Transfer to Poor Households in the State. The amount is Disbursed to the Beneficiaries on the 10th of Every Month. Recently, the Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme was Launched to add more Beneficiaries to this Scheme. Apply for the Orunodoi Scheme.

2. Assam Swanirbhar Naari Scheme

CM Himanta Biswa Sharma launched the Swanirbhar Naari Scheme to empower the Weavers of Assam. The main objective of this scheme is to arrange the purchase of 31 handloom-produced textile products directly from the weavers without any middlemen. The money from Products purchased will be Directly Deposited within four days from the Date of Purchase. 

3. Chief Minister’s Shishu Seva Scheme

This Scheme was launched for the Children who lost their Parents due to COVID-19. Under this Scheme, a Monthly Assistance of Rs. 3,500 will be Deposited to the FD Account of the Child and On Completion of 24 Years of Age, the Amount will be given to the Child for his Upcoming Life. 

4. Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA)

This Assam Govt Scheme was launched to promote Rural Women Entrepreneurs. Through the MMUA Scheme, Financial Assistance will be provided to the Women of the State to Set-up the Small businesses and ventures in the State. You Can Apply For the Scheme By Clicking Here

5. Lakhpati Baideo Scheme

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma Has Launched the Assam Lakhpati Baideo Scheme to Empower 40 Lakh Self Help Groups Workers to help them become rural Micro Entrepreneurs. Under This Scheme, Financial Assistance of Rs. 35,000 will be given to 40 Lakh Women of the State. The eligibility criteria of the Scheme is an Annual income of Rs. 1 Lakh. The Lakhpati Baideo Scheme will offer every SHG worker ₹ 10,000 in the first year and ₹ 12,500 from the Government and another ₹ 12,500 as a bank loan (a total of 25,000) over the next two years.

6. Arundhati Gold Scheme

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma Has launched the Arundhati Gold Scheme for Brides to curb social evils surrounding the girl child, like child marriage, female foeticide, dowry, etc. Under this Scheme, The Government desires to share the joy of such parents who are getting their daughters married by way of providing Rs.-40,000/ as a token of blessing to the daughters of these parents for purchasing Gold. Click Here To Apply.

Pension Schemes of Assam

1. Silpi Pension Scheme

Assam Government has launched this Scheme to provide Financial Assistance to the Artists of Assam State. Under this Scheme, a Pension of Rupees 8,000 is Provided to the Artists and One-time Financial Assistance of Rs. 50,000 is given to the Families of the Artist if the Artist dies due to Any Condition. 

2. Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension Scheme

The Chief Minister Launched the Scheme to empower Senior Citizens of the State aged above 60 Years. Under this scheme, eligible persons above the age of 60 will get a monthly pension directly added to their bank account. The scheme can be applied online or offline by availing the assistance of the Gaon Panchayat/Development Block/ Municipal Corporation/Municipal Board/Town Committee of the respective jurisdiction.
