The Assam Government is Supporting the Students who have Scored Good marks in the HSLC exams. In this Article we are Going to Discuss about the Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme, under which Free laptops and Cash prizes are given to those Students who have Secured 1st Division in the Examination of SEBA.
Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme 2025
Govt of Assam is providing Laptops and cash award in lieu of Laptops to the meritorious students securing 1st division in the HSLC and High Madrasah Examination of SEBA and 10th standard examination held under State Madrassa Education Board, Assam and Sanskrit Board Assam under ‘Anundoram Borooah Cash-cum Laptop Award Scheme.
Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was launched for motivating and inspiring the students for better performance and to have first-hand experience with Information and Communication Technology.
Objectives of Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme
- To Promote Higher Education among the Students.
- To Provide Laptops and Cash prizes to those Candidates who secured 1st Division in SEBA Exams.
- To Promote Competitiveness among Students
- To Provide Rs. 15,000 cash amount to those students who Scored 75% in the Exams.

Anundoram Borooah Award Eligibility Criteria
- Students who Secured Star Marks or 75% or more in the HSLC Examination Conducted by the SEBA, are eligible to apply online for this Scheme.
- Only 2023-24 academic year Passed Students are eligible to apply for this Scheme.
- Only Students from Assam State are Eligible to Apply for the Scheme.
- The Name of the Candidates should be the Same as the Name entered in the Bank account.
- Mobile Number should be Entered for future Communication.
